Window Tinting for Offices

Most windows let in the light, the wonderful Sun’s rays. They allow you to look out and others to look in.

However, that can be a problem in your office. You don’t need the suns extra heat and its blinding glare. The way it fades your chairs and equipment. And finally do you really want people to see in?

Fortunately, here at Tintworx we have the answer: Window film.

Window film is an easy to apply, specially designed and technically advanced product. That has been developed to reduce and prevent these problems in a cost effective, stylish way. The film is available in several finishes and is designed to be retrofitted to existing windows and glazing.

Window film applied to glass gives a slight or total reflection when viewed from the outside. Reflecting up to 79% of the sun’s energy before it enters your office, depending upon the tint used. The remainder still enters, so allowing you to enjoy the suns warmth without the excess heat.

Privacy maybe the thing you most need, you could shut the blinds but then you shut out the light and your view. Applying window film gives you the best of both worlds: privacy with natural light and a view. Different window films offer different levels of privacy, but still let in some natural light.

You may need film for any of the above points. All these points need to be considered and we are highly experienced at advising the most appropriate solar window film for your individual building or office.

Once window film is applied to your windows the only maintenance required is normal window cleaning: being careful not to use anything that may scratch the glass.

• You can keep the blinds and curtains open

  Window film is fitted to the window so preventing heat entering the room. Blinds and Curtains are set back from the glass, so they still let all the excess heat in.

  Plus, when you shut those blinds and curtains, you are removing the view and blocking the natural sunlight. Something you won’t remove when you have film applied.

  Our films reduce fading by blocking 99% of the UV rays that are a major cause of fading. Fading can be an expensive problem. All too often the damage is done before you notice. With flooring, pictures, furniture, and any personal valuables in direct sunlight ending up discoloured and damaged. Applying window film greatly slows down the fading process.

In July 2013 we installed our Solar Silver 20% film on two 15 pane windows at the newly opened Paignton site. The sun pouring through the south facing windows made working at the reception area unbearable for staff and they needed a solution to reduce heat and glare with the added bonus of privacy for members and when closed.
